Yes I mourn the loss of those two tunes. Yet since I am "The Creator" I can resurrect them one day. Nothing is over till I am.
Other news is more of the same BS. When I talked these things I'd veer off into them but as a writer I realize unless something truly earth shattering happens; there is no point in writing about it.
Think I'll re-learn "Force of Will". That one almost made it on both "Full 88" and "Everything is Subject to Change". In fact, those album titles were to be "Force of Will" had the song been on either! Why? Cause each one was a force of my will. Neither really needed to be made; I had said "it all" as a singer\songwriter on "Born at Night", "Addendum", and "all that is left isd all that remains". "PTEP8. "Full 88", and "Everything is Subject to Change" were real big wastes of time, effort, and most importantly... money. But I wanted to make them and made them happen even though each was an uphill climb.
The results. Meh. Really. 26 songs of meh. Nothing on any of those three projects measures up to "Angel With a Vamp Inside", "Play For You", "No Friend of Mine", "I Didn't Quit I surrendered", "The Weird Old Musician Who Lives Across the Street", "Street Sleeper", "Mr, Clean", "1975"... and on and on.
The 26 that followed were uninspired. I did not care anymore. Not really. They came out cause they came out. Hell I write songs all the time nowadays but hardly ever sit at the piano and try and work them out because... I do not care. If I did, the end results would be a batch of more meh. So why??
Of course I need to give a shout out to "World of Pain", the final song on ESC that Joel spent an extra $500.00 mixing and so forth. It is a wonder at 9.5 minutes and features superb guitar from Casper Jones. But as a song? POS. One chord, cliche lyrics, and just a lot of rambling on my part. The original composition was not so loose. BUT I wanted a long rambling crazy song and well that is what I paid for.
Bye till whenever.
